It seems like every time we go to Kirtland there is more to see and hopefully before we are done we can see it all!! Here are just a few of the pictures I have taken

Just to the left of the entrance into the visitors they now have the schoolhouse opened. This is a picture of it that is exhibited in the schoolhouse.

. Most of you who have been to Kirtland know that this is the welfare room of the Newel K. Witney store. Notice some of the items that he gave to people in exchange for or to those of the needy of Kirtland of the time. He was a bishop and he and his wife did amazing about of things for the saints coming into Kirtland at the beginning of the church.

This is just above the welfare room. Joseph Smith entertained many people in this room. The table is the original loaned to the Kirtland exhibit by a museum. The woman seated is Lin Parco our Primary President who went with us

I couldn't get away with out taking pictures of the trees around the temple

Here is Lin, Sister Hunsaker, Sister Printz and me in front of the LDS visitors center where the bronze statues are being shown here until the last week of May. It has attracted a lot of people

This is the front porch of the NKW Store

On the left you can see where the people got their mail. there are barrells of oil, rice, wheat, etc in the background and to the right is the counter where they did the transactions.

These saws that hang on the wall were used to cut ice in the winter, which they stored covered with hay in their cellars

This was our guide and he was absolutely the best ever!! He really gave us a lot of history as he took us through and was not biased or on guard all the time. He told it as he thought it was.
