Another day in the mission field

Well, it has been a windy, rainy day here and if you can believe it, it was dark by 5:15 today. We know because we were in North East, another township, part of Erie. We were looking for some members but caught up with no one. A wasted trip. It rained and stormed the whole way and we even hit patches of fog, which I consider to be a little scarey, but. . . . .
We had our missionary meeting this morning, then came back to the apartment and fed the missionaries as they were using the computer, trying to get a flyer ready to be passed out next sunday. With Dad's computer sort of down, it was a little harder getting things done, but they perservered!!
One of our Elders--Freeman--is going to be transferred on Tuesday. We will miss him. He has been here since June and will miss out on the baptism of one of his investigators. She just had surgery on her foot and she cannot get baptized for another month. What a bummer. . . .
We are to have a few more members there tomorrow, at least they said they would be there, so we are anxious to see them. Will let you know how that worked out!!
